Sauce of the Year
THE ASSOCIATION FOR DRESSINGS AND SAUCES NAMES
ATLANTA -- The Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS) named its fourth annual Sauce of the Year at its Annual Meeting held October 16-18 at the Marriott Rancho Las Palmas Resort The Sauce of the Year award was given to Litehouse, Inc. for their Sesame Ginger Dressing & Sauce. "Asian sauces and dressings are a very important area for the industry and to be recognized by our peers as having a superior sauce is a great honor and very much appreciated" said Paul Kusche, Director Brand Development for Litehouse, Inc., who accepted the award during Monday's General Session. The Sauce of the Year award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious sauce products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test. ADS members cast their votes for the sauce deemed to have the best overall taste. ADS also presented a Dressing of the Year award at their Annual Meeting. The Association for Dressings and Sauces is an international trade association of salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard and other condiment sauce manufacturers and their suppliers.
