Sauce of the Year
THE ASSOCIATION FOR DRESSINGS & SAUCES AWARDS (October 2007) ATLANTA, GA – The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its sixth annual Sauce of the Year Award winner, Hawaiian Glaze, at its Annual Meeting held October 14-16 at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, California. “On behalf of Green Garden Foods, it is an honor to receive the ADS Sauce of the Year Award. After 75 years in the dressings and sauces business this is a welcomed accolade to the years of dedicated work. We also appreciate ADS in all it has done to promote excellence in the dressings and sauces industry by maintaining the blend of art and science in quality food development,” said Mark Hockman, President and Chairman, who accepted the award during Monday’s General Session. The Sauce of the Year Award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious sauce products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test at ADS’ April Technical Meeting in Savannah, Georgia. ADS members voted for the sauce product deemed to have the best overall taste. The Association for Dressings & Sauces is an international trade association of salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard and other condiment sauce manufacturers and their suppliers.
