THE ASSOCIATION FOR DRESSINGS & SAUCES NAMES T. MARZETTI COMPANY’S CINNAMON CARAMEL APPLE DIP 2009 SAUCE OF THE YEAR (October 2009) ATLANTA, GA – The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its seventh annual Sauce of the Year Award winner at its Annual Meeting held October 10 - 12 at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort in Dana Point, California. “Cinnamon Caramel Apple Dip was built on the exceptional taste of Marzetti Caramel Dip. Adding yogurt and speckles of cinnamon brought forward the creamy texture and produced a product of sensational flavor,” said Irena Castle, Senior Marketing Manager – Produce Dips, T. Marzetti Company. “The Marzetti team is very proud of the award received.” The Sauce of the Year Award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious sauce products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test at ADS’ May Technical Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas. ADS members voted for the sauce product deemed to have the best overall taste.
