2002 Package of the Year

FRENCH’S MUSTARD STAY-CLEAN CAP
2002 PACKAGE OF THE YEAR
ATLANTA -- The Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS) named its third annual Package of the Year at its Annual Meeting held October 20-22 at the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Ft. Myers, Florida.
The Package of the Year award was given to French’s Mustard for their Stay-Clean Cap. This innovative, exclusive cap design delivers less mess to the consumer and is currently used on their mustard products.
"We are very proud and feel honored to be recognized with this award," said Dr. Ahmed Awad, Director of Research and Development for Reckitt Benckiser/French’s Ingredients, who accepted the award during Tuesday’s General Session.
The Package of the Year award is presented by ADS to increase the awareness of packaging in general and to celebrate the accomplishments of the packaging industry for dressing, sauce and condiment-related packages. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then placed on the ADS Members Only section of the ADS Web site, www.dressings-sauces.org, for an online election where ADS members cast their votes for the package each deemed most innovative.
The Association for Dressings and Sauces is an international trade association of salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard and other condiment sauce manufacturers and their suppliers.
