2002 Dressing of the Year
THE ASSOCIATION FOR DRESSINGS AND SAUCES NAMES
The Dressing of the Year award was given to Cains Foods, L.P., for their Light Blush Wine Vinaigrette dressing. "We are very honored to be recognized with this award and extremely proud of the product." said Denis Keaveny, President and CEO of Cains Foods, who accepted the award during Monday’s General Session. The Dressing of the Year award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious sauce products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test. ADS members cast their votes for the dressing deemed to have the best overall taste. ADS also presented a Sauce of the Year award at their Annual Meeting. The Association for Dressings and Sauces is an international trade association of salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard and other condiment sauce manufacturers and their suppliers. ATLANTA -- The Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS) named its first-ever Dressing of the Year at its Annual Meeting held October 20-22 at the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Ft. Myers, Florida.
