Tuesday Evening Networking Reception & Dinner
ADS is planning a fun night out at the Oregon Territory Museum to wrap up this year’s Technical Meeting. The Museum marks the end of the famous Oregon Trail, and features a special “10,000 Years: Indian Art & Trade in the Willamette Valley” exhibit showcasing exquisite woven baskets and artifacts from area tribal communities. The “Kaegi” Pharmacy” includes a fascinating display of bottles, potions and hand-rolled pills. You will also learn about Oregon City’s mills, industry and the Willamette Falls significant natural and cultural heritage.

You will be entertained by “The Trail Band Lite” which consists of a penny whistle, string bass and violin, and whose music ranges from traditional folk, to ho-down and Native American. The band will not only entertain you with songs, but with historical readings as well. The Trail Band is the premiere historic music ensemble from the Northwest. It captures the spirit of Oregon like no other entertainment. Plan to dress casual, and make flight plans for late Wednesday, so you can plan to sleep in. This is a great way to wind up the Technical Meeting and learn some interesting facts about our nation’s 33rd state.

This networking event is included in your registration fee, but please check the appropriate box on the online registration form to let us know if you are planning to attend on Tuesday evening.
