ADS GOLF SCRAMBLE AT THE ROOKERY

Monday, October 11 – 1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start

Recently redesigned by acclaimed golf course designer Robert Cupp, Jr., The Rookery at Marco blends a resort private course with the native surroundings. Appropriately named The Rookery, meaning bird sanctuary, the course is nestled in shallow wetlands that attract many species of birds. At more than 7,100 yards in length, the playing experience includes generous fairways, oversized and receptive greens, the option to play from one of five teeing locations, and immaculate turf condition.

A beverage cart will be available on the course; all purchases are the responsibility of the individual.

DOLPHIN EXPLORER CRUISE

Monday, October 11, 1:30 p.m. departure

Meet Oscar, Nibbles, Ripple, Patch, Baby Emma and our other neighbors who live in the waters of the Gulf, bays and estuaries off of Naples and Marco Island. You will enjoy a private Dolphin expedition aboard the “Dolphin Explorer”, a 30’ pontoon boat guided by licensed Captains and knowledgeable tour guides. The Dolphin Explorer is part of a five year Dolphin study which focuses on the abundance, distribution, movement, association patterns and behavior of bottlenosed dolphins in SW Florida. The project is the only on-going study of wild dolphins in SW Florida and the only study involving the public. Over 1,500 dolphins have been sighted since the study began in 2006. You will have the opportunity to join the fun of assisting the survey crew to locate, photograph and identify bottlenosed dolphins. Your trip also includes a stop at a barrier island where guests can disembark and enjoy bird watching and shelling at its finest.

Cost per person: $170.00 (Includes beverages and all taxes and gratuities.)
A minimum of 15 people is required to proceed with this tour; a maximum of 25 can participate.

If the tour is closed when you register, please contact Jacque Knight or Donna Smith at (404) 252-3663 to be placed on a waiting list.

Note: All monies will be refunded if water conditions are not conducive to this tour.
