Chez Philippe
Winner of the AAA Four Diamond Award and the only Mobil Four-Star gourmet restaurant in the Mid-South presents an international menu of French cuisine.  French-Asian cuisine is known for combining traditional French presentation and techniques with Asian ingredients.  The cuisine is inventive ad blends complex flavors.  Located just off the Grand Lobby, Chez Philippe is open Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.  Call 901/529-4188 for reservations. 

Peabody Deli & Desserts
Serving morning coffee, continental breakfast, light meals of salads and sandwiches and specialty desserts.  The Deli is open daily from 6:30 a.m.

Expect hip decor and great food at this restaurant, which serves up tasty Caribbean and Southwestern dishes.  Sit at the bar and have one of the many flavors of martinis.  The best seats, though, are by the window (with a view of the Peabody) and on the mezzanine.  As for the food, the Voodoo Stew is a standout, with big chunks of seafood in a lusty sauce.  Other specialties include the Coyote Chips potato chips with a red pepper sauce as well as the Coconut Mango Shrimp and the various polenta dishes.  The lunch menu features large sandwiches, such as salmon on sourdough bread.  Serving Lunch 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.; Dinner 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

It has long been said that the Mississippi Delta runs from the lobby of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis to the lobby of the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans.  The geographic span takes in several states and a lot of food specialties.  E.P. captures some of the highlights of that food and presents these outstanding recipes on a seasonal basis. Today's Mississippi Delta regional cuisine is filled with southern accents, Cajun and Creole accents along with current interpretations of the dishes. This region's exciting cuisine is constantly changing and evolving partially because of better communications and a greater availability of quality ingredients.  Prices $15.00 - $28.00.

Chef Felicia's philosophy of food is evident in every dish she serves.  She changes her menu seasonally to insure the freshest ingredients available and to take advantage of the region’s abundant offerings: Tennessee tomatoes, Arkansas peaches, Mississippi catfish, Louisiana crawfish and seafood from the Gulf.  Her food choices also come from other parts of the country.  She has salmon and halibut flown in daily when in season.  She utilizes local farmers as purveyors for quail, pork and grain.  Her 'test kitchen' is at work on an on-going basis creating new dishes and honoring familiar favorites.  Prices $26.00 - $36.00.  Hours 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The home of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll can now claim another legend.  Pat O'Brien's Memphis is a replica of the famous New Orleans bar and restaurant and promises to be a favorite of locals and tourists alike.  Just like its counterpart in the French Quarter, the Memphis location has a sing along Piano lounge with copper top pianos, Main Bar, Restaurant and elegant Private Party facilities. The unique architecture of New Orleans is preserved throughout the complex, complete with a wrought iron balcony overlooking Rufus Thomas Drive and beautiful French doors on historic Beale Street.
